Almost all window treatments offer the ability to make the shape of the product into an angle top or a rake top. But the huge difference between the choices is whether or not you are able to function the window coverings at all or have the ability to completely open the window. What I am showing you in this blog is one of the choices that gives you the best options for function and style.

What Choices Do You Have?
There are lots of products that will do angle top windows, but here are the ones that we suggest.
- Honeycomb Shades- Like the ones shown in this video, they provide insulation, various levels of light control and they stack nicely at the top of the window.
- Shutters- Shutters are great at controlling light and they are a great look for a lot of people’s homes. The louvers open, but more of the view is blocked than the other options.
- Roller Shades that stack at the bottom and roll by angle up to the top. These are great for certain options, especially solar screens. They are a great look when done correctly, but require a lot of extra work to help them have a clean look.
- Banners- These are fabrics that either hang from a top board or are done on a 4-sided frame. They are done typically with solar screens. They can be taken down, but they don’t move.
- There are other choices too, like almost every product out there, but they will probably block the view permanently or for the majority of the window.
