Honeycomb Shade Choices Matter
When you are purchasing window coverings like honeycomb shades or cellular shades the little options can make a big difference. In this blog and attached video, I discuss what options you have with the Headrails. The main focus is the ability to put whatever color and pattern of fabric on it that you choose. Please watch it to get an idea of what I’m referring to here.
A honeycomb shade has a lot of choices that you can make, but the way it is usually presented by dealers is a way that simplifies their job. Unfortunately, it is not putting your interests at the top of their thought process. In order to make these types of choices, it takes more time and also requires a creative mind. Not all sellers of honeycomb shades or other window covering products have that type of mentality.
You can see in the photo to the left (Please click on it to enlarge it.) that when you add a contrasting color it makes a completely different finished look. In this case, the windows are all trimmed out in the black color, so we decided with the client to make the rail colors black to match. It has such a great finished look in giving the owner the exact look that they were looking for.
What Choice Should You Make?
I basically ask this question with every blog. Why? Because we help people to make the best choice for their specific desires and needs. That is why we take our time to make the right choices. Our average time for an appointment with our clients is close to three hours. That is because I want to be positive that the client is getting exactly what they want and need for their window coverings. In this case, we discussed honeycomb shade headrails, but please remember that we take the same interest in any kind of window treatments that you select.
