Shutters are one of the products that it is very important to order and install correctly. If you aren’t aware of all of the options available, it can lead to that “oh no” moment. That is when you get the product and then learn that you didn’t order correctly.
Imagine that you buy that brand new car and you think that you got everything perfectly ordered. It arrives, you’ve taken out a loan, and you sit in it for the first time…smiling! Then you go to turn on the seat warmers and you realize that this vehicle doesn’t come with the winter package. “Oh No!” That is a bad feeling. When it comes to window treatments, especially shutters, we don’t want that feeling.
So, with that in mind, let me present the AutoTilt feature from Norman Window Fashions. (Also called Norman Shutters) When you watch the video, you will see the louvers tilting themselves when the panels are folded together. Why would you want this feature on your shutters?
If you have multipanel shutters, you can have many separate sections of louvers to adjust BEFORE you fold the panels. By using the AutoTilt feature, you can close your shutters without having any worry. “What worry?”, you may ask. If you don’t fully close your louvers, especially with a bi-fold panel system, you risk substantial damage. This happens when louvers stick out past the panel and then they are folded into other louvers. If they hit each other, especially if they are real wood, the louvers can easily dent or scrape off the finish, whether paint or stain.
The Auto-Tilt feature removes any concern about opening your shutters panels quickly. It saves time and adds to your peace of mind. To see more of this panel, watch our video here.
