PowerWand- Simple To Use

The Alta Window Fashions PowerWand is a great choice to use for motorized shades. It is one of the best values out there for battery operated window coverings. It has limitations that you need to know about. For example, it does not allow use of Apps to control shades or to do so through timers and automation. But, if you want a simple, yet very functional motorized blind, you should definitely check this one out.

I have intentionally not shown some of the programming features because I want this to be very simple. The focus of the video above is to show how it functions, but there is one other factor that I need to cover here. That is how to charge the lithium-ion battery that is inside the shade headrail.

How To Charge and Program The PowerWand

I have included a video from Alta Window Fashions at the bottom of this blog. It shows exactly how to charge it. One the backside of the wand, there are two features. One, is the charging outlet. Just plug in the charger that you purchased. The light on the charger will turn green when it has finished charging. Then, unplug it.

The second feature on the backside is a programming button. If you wish to change any programming, click the link to the Alta video below and then search through their videos to find one that teaches what you are trying to learn.
