I am re-posing this video, shot about 3 years ago because it has garnished the most views by far of any of my videos on YouTube. It is watched three times more than the next most watched video. I guess what happens is that people do all the “normal” windows in their homes and then they finally deal with that pesky window or windows at the front door. Sidelights can certainly be a challenge. The video shows some great options.

Shutters have become super popular again and the caveat that I mention in the video is still super important. If you are going to do any type of window coverings, whether they be blinds, shades or shutters on your sidelights, you’d better know the positives and negatives of that product, otherwise you might be asking for big problems later.
