I saw an arched window covering installed by your company on YouTube. Not sure if it is considered a wood blind or shutter. Can you please give me some info: cost? what type of material? ease of install (assume to be installed by homeowner)? How much to ship to Texas?
Thank you.
This was our reply:
Thank you for your interest in the shutter arch product. It’s not really a blind or shutter as it’s a hybrid product specifically designed for arches or specialty shaped windows. The general cost is $100 per linear horizontal foot. There are ways to bring this cost down and ways to make it go up, based on many options. The material is generally made of either MDF or various grades of plywood, but again, that depends on your needs. The product is very easy to install, but I suggest that you have two people do it on your first one as the arches are a bit unwieldy to handle. The shipping costs are included in the pricing. If you think that this is a good solution for your windows, please contact me, Paul Kempler, at the office. The number is 775 857 3100. These really are fantastic products that are very attractive and very functional.
This is my commentary:
We do ship to all points and on big enough jobs we will travel to install. Of course, in the Reno and Tahoe area we install all of these jobs ourselves. If you have an arch window that you want to have the option of seeing out AND blocking the sun, you should consider our arch top shutter option.
