Lift Options For Hunter Douglas Wood Blinds
When it comes to lift options for wood blinds, there are only a few choices with most companies. Hunter Douglas offers the standard Cordlock, the UltraGlide, The LiteRise and now SimpleLift. The following video and photo shows the SimpleLift in a picture and in action.
Child Safety
You will notice in the picure that they have strategically placed children’s blocks in the picture. This is because the average Cordlock wood blinds or faux wood blinds are not safe lift options for children due to the cording. SimpleLift, LiteRise and UltraGlide all remove cording from danger areas. All three lift systems operate somewhat differently and we can explain all of them to you, but this blog is specifically for the SimpleLift system.
SimpleLift Operation
OK, now for the complicated part. How do you use the SimpleLift mechanism? Are you ready? (Sarc) Press the button and raise or lower the bottom rail… Yep, that’s it. Very easy. The key is pressing the button. The retail price to add SimpleLift to your blinds is only $79 as of July 2019. So, safety and efficiency doesn’t have to be expensive.
